You should be able to edit the custom reports you create rather than creating brand new ones to make a simple addition.

This is a feature that currently exists in our system. You can go into reporting and choose the custom report builder option. Once in there you would need to click the Load button and choose the report you are trying to edit. Once that opens up you can click on the Options button and click either Field Chooser or Filter. That will allow you to make the changes necessary and don't forget to Save the changes prior to closing out.
You won't be notified about changes to this idea.
